Summary
AS GRANGE’S INTER-CLUB RECORD OVER RECENT YEARS HAS BEEN SOMEWHAT SHORT OF OUTSTANDING WE HOPE THAT THIS SERIES OF COMPETITIONS WILL BE A ‘KICK UP THE BLINDSIDE’ AND HELP US HIT THE GROUND RUNNING IN THE VARIOUS INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS IN 2012.
THE COMPETITION FORMAT HAS BEEN ENDORSED BY OUR HEAD CLUB PROFESSIONAL, DAVID, AND HE HAS CONFIRMED THE VIEW THAT PLAYING A MATCH AGAINST THE COURSE WITH A REDUCED NUMBER OF CLUBS ON A REGULAR BASIS WILL DEFINITELY HELP TO SHARPEN OUR MATCH-PLAY SKILLS FOR THE SEASON AHEAD. WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT OUR FULL TEAM OF CLUB PROFESSIONALS HAVE ALSO AGREED TO PLAY WITH THE LEADING PLAYERS ON THE ORDER OF MERIT ON IN THE FINAL DAY OF THE SERIES, SATURDAY 3RD MARCH 2012.
