Grange Olympian

Grange Golf Club can now boast of having a member of their club taking part in the Beijing Olympic Games. Scott Evans, who is ranked in the top 50 in the world, made the games by virtue of his world ranking. Scott, who plays his golf in Grange off  handicap of 14, has been playing on the European Tour since he was 15 and is now a full time professional.

His badminton results read like: Irish National Champion 2005, 2006, 2007: Runner up Croatian Open 2007; Quarter Final Portuguese Open 2007; Quarter Final US Open 2007. 1/16 Dutch Open 2007; 1/32 Denmark Super Series 2007; Semi Final Irish International Open 2007; European Championship 1/4 Final 2008. Scott is attached to the Gentofte Badminton Club in Denmark. We wish Scott every success.
