The Masters Fail to Retain Boston Putter

The Grange Masters failed to retain the Boston Putter at Carlow on Thursday 25th September. They travelled to the midlands club with great expectations ot retaining this coveted piece of woodwork, but the Carlow lads had the U.S. A. Ryder Cup touch about them and Grange lost by a single point. The pairing of Oliver Healy and Tom Lyons took the Carlow prize with 44 pts and for Grange Joe Long and Bart Fitzsimons were successful with 45 pts.
